Snow

It's evening on the 5th of February and it's snowing outside. It's beautiful and it makes me feel romantic. It makes me want to don a beautiful full length gown with lace and satin. It makes me want to softly pull my hair up. It makes me want to delicately hold a tea cup in my right hand and steadily hold a matching saucer in my left. It makes me want to sit by a fire in a wing back chair across from an old friend and listen to stories about when she was a girl. It makes me want my sisters. It makes me want to wrap a shawl around my shoulders. It makes me want candle-light, I want to see it's gentle glow dancing on the walls. It makes me want to live simply and fully. It makes me want to smile. And I do.
